Care of God's Creation Registration - April 23-25, 2010

Solar Water Heater Retreat
Caring For God's Creation Task Force *** Men In Mission *** Cross Trails Ministry
Join Us In Caring For Creation
Ebert Ranch
April 23-25, 2010
It's free!

The Caring For God’s Creation Task Force of the Southwestern Texas Synod, in partnership with Men In Mission and Cross Trails Ministry, is sponsoring a solar water heater retreat, free of charge and open synod-wide. While witnessing the spectacular unfolding of spring at Ebert Ranch, you’ll receive hands-on teaching and experience building and installing active and passive solar water heaters for ongoing energy conservation and cost savings at the ranch. You’ll be able to take all that you learn during this unique weekend experience and plan the installation of similar systems for your own homes, offices, and/or churches.

In addition to hands on learning, you’ll participate in a riveting, multi-part, guided Bible study focusing on care of creation, go on nature hikes with a trained naturalist, attend special presentations with astronomy, creation and the environment as their subjects, and enjoy guest speakers as they share their wisdom, expertise, and personal experiences using solar energy.

Call task force chair, Stacey Cone for more information: 512-749-6962

Free will donations of $10 will be appreciated. Donations and contributions for retreat expenses should be indicated and sent to Cross Trails Ministry, 391 Upper Turtle Creek Road, Kerrville, TX 78028
