The Inclusive/Multicultural Ministries Committee works to promote a sense of inclusiveness in a synod where we ought not to even have to think about this. The committee works hard in various settings of workshops, special training sessions, and at synod assembly to lift up antiracism, issues of justice and equality, and the opening of doors to the people who are in our synod as brothers and sisters.

The Global Missions Committee is the linkage between our synodical mission and the work of global mission, which can be as close as Mexico and La Frontera, or our Companion Synod, Costa Rica. The committee co-ordinates various immersion experiences in the mission fields with which we are closely aligned, Mexico and Costa Rica.

The Outreach Committee keeps the flame of mission burning in this synod. The committee works at identifying new mission areas throughout the synod, helping to raise funds, working with the Mission Directors and synod staff to continue communications with the mission pastors in the synod, and identifying potential congregations for Transformational ministry. This crucial committee is at the heart and soul of what we are about in the church today, and is constantly working at raising up work with Hispanic/Latino people who comprise a vast number of people with whom we should be in mission.
Mission Partners
Contact Chair: TBD
The Mission Partners Committee works to coordinate congregations who have needs and congregations who can share blessings. These needs and blessings may be financial, work oriented, prayer related, or simply getting to know about others. The Mission Partner Committee works with ELCA churchwide to look at new and innovative ways to partner congregations in mission.
