Greetings and Peace!
The synod office staff knows how busy congregations are at this time of year - - start-up
programming, planning, and budgeting for the future. There are some tools and information
that may help you as leaders in the budgeting process for your congregation. The items
marked with an asterisk ‘*’ are included in this mailing. All other information is currently
available on the ELCA Website or swtsynod.org, your synod Website, as indicated.
The synod is also anticipating its budget discussions. To assist us in our determinations,
it is necessary to have you return as soon as possible the enclosed form,
“Our Congregation’s 2010 Mission Support.”

A. ELCA’s 2010 “Our Congregation’s Plan for Mission Support”
*Remittance Forms for your treasurer preaddressed to insure proper accounting of
your congregation’s gifts. Note: To hold down the cost of postage, we have enclosed
one “master” form. We ask that you make copies as needed, keeping this form as your
master form. Please include all gifts in one check and use one remittance form per
check. (see Sample) Thank you!
*A Mission Support Consultation Brochure including “Our Congregation’s 2010
Mission Support” form. Thank you for your support!
