Our Mission:

To serve Congregations in the Southwestern Texas Synod as a clearinghouse for information on resources available through the Center or Augsburg Fortress.

Learn about the Synod Library

Looking for a book, video, Bible study or worship resources? Our Synod Library can help! You can visit the center at 1090 Oestreich Drive, Seguin, and browse through the many resources we have available. You will find a wealth of information to meet your needs.
The Vision:

To gather and provide materials or information that is consistent with the ELCA and Synod Mission Statements;

To support the Ministry of Congregations with Educational, Worship and Mission needs;

To facilitate or distribute the circulation of printed, digitized or audiovisual materials that is in the Synod Library or through the recycling or surplus resources by Congregations.

Share Your Gifts     Photo-Recycle

The Synod Library encourages churches with current material on Christian Education, worship, stewardship, or any other topic that is no longer needed in their own congregations to share it with others in the synod. Send information on any excess materials available for distribution and Synod Library staff will gladly attempt to find a sister church that can use it. Do not mail the material to the Synod. The preferred method is to email the contact shown below and they will have any interested congregation contact you directly.  The material can then be mailed directly to the church that needs it.
